I had been wanting to purchase a digital photo frame for months, and couldn't find a digital frame that I considered good looking. Most of what I came across was either too fake looking, too plastic looking, too clunky, or just straight up ugly.

However while browsing my local Sam's Club I came across a high resolution digital photo frame by ADS. The ADS Digital Photo Frame - 8".

The frame had a beautiful solid high res 8 inch screen, that looked more like a miniature Samsung HDTV. The look was sleek, slim, and flawless. Not only that it also came with a pretty attachable wood surrounding frame, that was actually made of plastic, but resembled real cherry wood.

Attractive it was, and its apperance was the reason it came home with me.

Ease Of Set Up:

Now I had never used a phot frame before, so I was completly new to the whole thing. I imagined placing photos, music, and video onto this frame would be difficult. I will gladly say that it was a freaking cinch.

The frame comes with all of the cables you need to hook it to your PC. You simple place the USB plug into an available USB port on your PC, and immediatly the computer will recognize the frame as a detachable hard drive.

From there you simply drag and drop your photos into the new ADS file, wait for them to upload for a few seconds.

Next power off the frame, then power it back on. Immediatly my frame began playing my uploaded MP3 files, and displaying my photos.

I had no idea it would be this easy. But it was.

The frame also has 128mb of storage. So you can place your favorites in the frames memory. You can add more by simply placing your digital cameras SD card into an available slot in the frame. Those photos will play in a clever animated slideshow that is not only beautiful, but also flawless.

I find that the ADS Digital Photo Frame - 8" would make a beautiful gift for newlyweds. You can upload their wedding photos, and add their wedding song. Truly this frame is an 8" masterpiece.
