Affordable art at Goodwill? Yes at Goodwill!
By Mia Blaisdell onI don't know if any of you shop Goodwill, but you should check them out! I drop in every now and then to look over items they have and they do have some really great deals. Especially in the framed art /posters section. I've always been a fan of the photographer Ansel Adams and love his black and white nature prints and was definitely excited to see this framed poster there at the store! I don't have a tape measure handy to give you the exact measurements, but it does take up a rather sizable space on my wall, and where I have it it fits perfectly. The print is called Oak tree snow storm and was taken in Yosemite Valley, California in 1948 and came already framed for just 10 bucks! Not bad hunh? I think it was an amazing deal and yes, there were many more excellent pieces just as wonderful too. So if you're on a budget and would like some new posters and art to liven up your place, go give them a look!

Yes , I have found goodwill to be a good place to find pictues and frames.
I occasionally haunt different Goodwills for goodies. It is amazing what you can find there. I love Ansel Adams photographic art and this piece is gorgeous. What a great find!
How cool is that, to find this great print for $10!
Before my daughter rmoved to Florida one of our favorite pastimes was to spend a Saturday going to all the surrounding Goodwill & Salvation Army stores, it's like a garage sale and you can find some really great items. Lovely picture and great price!
A fellow here purchased a photograph for $1.25 and it ended up being worth over $2500! Now there's a bargain, lol. He gave the proceeds to a charity though which was great to do. I had the opportunity to pick up a German crafted beer stein once, it was so ugly though that I passed. Next thing I know I'm seeing an identical one on the Antique Road Show, value? $7500. Kicking myself? You bet! :O Thanks for the info, appreciate
Love Goodwill! You never know what your going to find.
Amazing, great find! Thanks for the info. ;)
I am sure that the clients who are served by your purchase appreciate your patronage.
Really nice buy. I saw a tree painting in Amish country & looking to find it again for above my mantle. It was so beautiful. It was black and white too. I shop Goodwill. You can find namebrand with tags still on it.
Goodwill gets a lot of things from estates and people who just don't have anyone to pass their treasures down to. If you look, you will find something priceless. Good find!
