Aim Cool Mint Gel Less Spicy Than Blue Gel By Joan Young on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I don't like the Cool Mint gel as well as the Blue Gel, but Aim is still my favorite.

It is getting harder and harder to find Aim toothpaste where I live. I'm not sure why that is. So, I could only find one kind after going to three stores. By then I was really bored with shopping, so I bought it. This one is Tarter Control, plus mouthwash, whitening, and anticavity fluoride. I actually didn't realize the flavor was different till I got it home. Cool Mint Gel is blue, but it's not the same as Blue Gel.

Somehow the gel in this one seems to break down faster, and tasted flatter than the Blue Gel. I'm not sure that makes much sense, but I can't think of any other way to describe it.

Have you read the side of the toothpaste box lately? You aren't supposed to swallow this stuff, or let children under six use it. If more than a toothbrushing size squeeze is swallowed you are supposed to call poison control! Sheesh... makes me think I should go back to brushing with baking soda sprinkled in the palm of my hand. Used to do that as a kid.

How should I rate packaging? It's a plain old tube of toothpaste.

But in general I don't wake up with a nasty chemical taste in my mouth when I use Aim. I have no idea if this would be true for anyone else.
