Reviewing: J.L. Childress Gate Check Stroller Bag (#2111) And Car Seat Bag (#2110)
Purchased at: Safety Superstore     Price: $19.95 CAD

While travelling with my infant son on our recent vacation to Jamaica, I wanted to ensure that the stroller and car seat we were bringing with us would not be damaged during the flight. Even though they were being gate checked, I still wanted a travel carry bag for them. I searched on the internet and read different reviews about different kinds a travel bags for strollers and car seats. I finally settled on getting the Gate Check ones.

The price of the Gate Check stroller and car seat travel bags were reasonable at $19.95 compared to more expensive kinds. We don't travel by plane a lot so I really couldn't justify spending over $50.00 each for a stroller and car seat travel bags.

The bags themselves are in bright, shocking red colour with bright whiteThe bags are made of a nylon material. lettering on it that says, 'Gate Check' in large block letters. There is even a space for you to write your name. There is a handle attached for easy carrying and drawstring closure on the top. The bags are made of a light, nylon material and fold compactly into its own pouch when not in use.

These bags held up okay and did actually keep the stroller and car seats clean. After travelling to Jamaica and home again the bags did sustain some minor tears and stains, but I am glad that it was the Gate Check bags that were damaged and stained instead of the stroller and car seat my baby would be sitting in!

$19.95 definitely isn't a bad price for just receiving a little wear and tear and remaining clean!

Boy, I wish I would have known about these back in 2000. We traveled to California and my son's stroller got damged even though it was gate checked. This might have protected it

If I travel with carseats anytime soon I'll look into these--thanks!

A great price and a very useful product for travelling parents. Even with early tearing they're still worth it for the infrequent traveller

Traveling sounds like a lot of work. We only flew once and rented the carseat from a car rental place and rented a stroller at the parks we went to.
