Airborne - take it early on when getting sick

Airborne is a natural product containing seven herbal extracts, electrolytes and 1000 mg of vitamin C.If I take this at the first onset of a cold, this has kept me from gettingfull blown cold.My entire family will take it and we really think it works.I have used it when having other illnesses and it does not always work.Mainly it is effective with colds.I found that if I take this after I am already sick (fully with all symptons of the cold), this does not help.The purpose of the product is to build up your immune system.I used to travel a lot and would take this prior to getting on the airplane.

The downside of Airborne is the expense.I pay about $8 for 10 tablets and the instructions say to take 1 tablet every 3 hours.At that rate, it can get expensive.They have a kids formula, but I found that you can give the children the adult formula by breaking the tablets in half.

It is easy to use.You just drop a tablet into a little bit of water. It dissolves and you drink it.The taste is okay - not bad, but no good either.

Updated to add:I just saw these at Target for $5.99 - a little better in price.
