Who would pluralize the "Lone Ranger?" A zany trio comprised of Brendan Fraser, Steve Buscemi and Adam Sandler would, and the result is a rocking good time in the DVD release of Airheads. Airheads features The Lone Rangers, a hard rock band struggling to make a name in the dying glory days of rock and the resulting emergence of grunge. Featuring Saturday Night Live alumni such as Michael McKean and the late Chris Farley, not to mention Seinfeld's Michael Richards, Airheads sees the Lone Rangers hatch a hair-brain scheme that blows up into a problem that no one could have foreseen, with hilarity ensuing along the way. Accompanying Airheads is a dynamic soundtrack featuring artists such as Motorhead and White Zombie, making this a movie that any old metal-head will love. What this DVD lacks in bonus features is made up for in a great movie that can be watched time and time again. Subtle jokes and celebrity cameos make this a DVD that belongs in any righteous collection.
