Aiwa Virtual Stereo, Compact Disc, Digital Audio
By eaforeman5 onI received this virtual stereo and I am truly dissapointed. The radio stereo plays great and the sound is wonderful. The problem was the cd player went out almost immediatly. It is silver and looks like it is built sturdy. I really expected better quality, and was also not satisfied with the cd player buttons sticking. This is a buyer beware product. If I didn't just get a single bad lemon and they are all like this, it is not a good purchase. I was happy that it operated off of batteries and that it had an antenna. It would have made a great portable player to have along if the cd player had worked. I can still use the radio and have tried to work on the buttons and get the cd player going again but so far, no luck. I have the csd-ed27 model. I really liked the speakers and everything else about it. It has a great design. When I looked at it, I thought , wow! this will be great. I bought another cd player and it is working fine. I always give the product credit where it is due. I will not be able to recommend this product.

I used to own an Aiwa boombox. Too bad this didn't work out for you. :(
I have a silver Aiwa from several years ago. My Aiwa doesn't work right either. I bought it & the CD player wouldn't work. I took it back & wish I would have chosen another brand. I exchanged & after some time, the volume doesn't work right. Trouble with CD player too. It pretty much sits on the entertainment center being hardly used. I use the radio from time to time & CD player mostly around Christmas. There was a class action suit on the one I own but never got anything back then. I think you could repair. Lousy CD/radio.
