Alavert Non-Drowsy 24 Hour Allergy Relief Tablets
By willoughbyclan onI purchased my Alavert Non-Drowsy Allergy Relieft Tablets with Citrus Burst Flavor at CVS for $11.99.Each package contains twelve orally disintegrating tablets in a blister pack. Each of the tablets contains Loratadine 10 mg and other inactive ingredients. Each tablet is supposed to give me 24 hour relief of sneezing, runny nose, itchy-watery eyes and itching of my nose and throat. The tablets are designed to melt in my mouth without the need for water. The citrus burst flavor does not leave a bad after taste in my mouth and actually tastes fairly good.
I like that I only need to take one pill for the entire day.Alavert Non-Drowsy Allergy Relief Tablets do relieve my symptoms as well as other products I have tried but they do no last the entire 24 hours as promised. The effectiveness seems to wear off around 18 hours for me.This is perfectly fine since I am sleeping at that time anyway.

I have to say that I can not take the alavert because it interacts with my asthma medicaction. Check with your doctor before taking over the counter medication it you are taking prescribed meds.
Nice to know that these really do last a fairly long time, thanks for sharing.
They seem to wear off a little too early for me
Nice to know that the medicine works for you. Thanks for sharing that info and your experience too.
You know, 18 hours really isn't too bad at all, considering so many other products don't work at all. The fact these dissolve with a pleasant taste, also means they get into your blood system much faster. I'll give Alavert a try.
Sounds like a good product. I like the fact that the tablets dissolve and taste good! Glad you found something that works for you.
I didn't know that Alavert came in different flavors!!! Even though they didn't last 24 hours for you, I'm glad that you still had relief for 18 hours!
Thanks for the information and glad that it works as you like it to.
I have actually used this medication before and it seems to work really well.
