Alba Facial Scrub Exfoliates Naturally

Reviewing: Alba Pineapple Enzyme
Purchased at: Cvs, Target     Price: $7.99 USD

I generally make my own facial exfoliant, but what I make needs to be refrigerated and isn't always practical for daily use or travel. When I discovered Alba's Pineapple Enzyme Facial Scrub, I found an exfoliant that works as well as my own, and leaves my face just as fresh and soft.

Alba's Pineapple Enzyme scrub is 80% certified organic, which is important to me -- I don't want pesticides on my skin.It is pH balanced and gentle enough for even my super-sensitive skin, although I use it once a week rather than daily. The ingredients include pineapple enzymes (obviously), aloe vera and lavender juices, jojoba esters, vegetable glycerin, carica papaya, and awapuhi extract, among other things. The ingredients are 100% vegetarian, and the company does no animal testing. It has a fresh fruity fragrance that isn't overpowering and doesn't last too long.

There is really nothing about this product that I don't like or that I feel is a negative. The price of $7.99 for a 4 ounce tube is very reasonable, and the quality is like that of many higher-priced lines.Since I don't use it daily, it's lasted 4 months so far and I still have plenty left.Since it is an exfoliant, I make sure to pay extra attention to moisturizing after I use it, but unlike those of some of its competitors, Alba's products don't strip the skin of all its natural oils, which can cause excess oil production after use.

I highly recommend Alba's Pineapple Enzyme Exfoliating Facial Scrub to anyone, male or female, for its efficiency, quality, fresh scent, and price, and give it a 5 of 5 rating.
