Albee Creek Campground In Humboldt By RachelV on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This weekend we checked out Albee Creek Campground in Southern Humboldt County. Albee Creek Campground is in the midst of the Avenue of the Giants. The rangers at the pay station were very friendly and helpful. It was quite warm, at least 75. There are many small creeks nearby and many hiking trails in the area as well. Some of the trails allow you to walk along creeks which I love when it's warm out. The campsites are somewhat private especially numbers 18-20. The water accessability is not excellent as the creek, Albee Creek is about 100 yards away from the campground. There are very clean bathrooms and a coin operated shower that is also very clean. The campground is kind of small which adds to the privacy and realy camping feel.
