Alessandro is a a small US based company that most people don't know about. Firstly if you have heard of Grado, you are one step to knowing Alessandro. There are only 3 models of headphones available at the Alessandro online store. From lowest to highest in price are the MS-1's, MS-2's and the MS-Pro. The cost of each headphone are $99, $299, $699 respectively in US dollars. Shipping is free worldwide and is great to have such a luxury.

These headphones are modded Grado headphones that provide a more neutral sound that caters to a wide range of music genres. Soundstage is acceptable but will not blow you away. The quality of sound is extremely good for the price. The included pads are identical to the ones shipped with the Grado SR-60 but different pads are interchangeable and may provide different tones, soundstage, and quality of the drivers. The comfort may be irritating at first but after forming the headband so that less pressure is applied to the ears, it is a pleasure to wear for extended periods. Note that these are open headphones and will leak sound as well as leak sound in while in a noisy environment.

All in all, this is a great introductory headphone into the audiophile world and provides great access to anyone who cannot obtain a pair of Grado's in their local area.
