Aleve Cold Sinus medicine - sweet relief!
By Demon_Buttercup onSuffering from a horrific sinus headache due to the lingering after effects of a cold, I was desperate for some relief. The cold medicine aisle is a joke now that the stuff that actually works is back in the pharmacy, so instead of reading the back of boxes, I was reading hanging cards.I knew Tylenol was not doing it for me, and then I saw Aleve had a Sinus and Cold medicine.I was intrigued as I had never tried Aleve as a pain reliever before and was curious, thinking maybe it could zap away the pain like Tylenol or Advil could not.I'm glad I tried!Within 20 minutes of taking one pill, I could feel the pressure in my face start to drain away.I was able to blow my nose and for the first time in days not feel congested! The best part, the headache I had been experiencing for days, went away!I think they name it Aleve because it sounds so much like relieve, and that is exactly what it it does, relieve your pain & suffering from your symptoms.

You are right on! Aleve is the only thing that works for my sinus headaches!
I have tried regular aleve and it works great but never the cold version. I get terrible sinus headaches and not much helps, I am going to stock up on some of this for my next one now that allergy season is here.
I love aleve for aches and pains, I'll have to remember it for sinus stuff too!
Wow, that was fast response to make a difference for you. Aleve seems to do a good job on several fronts. Thanks!
i too like this product. I have been using this for colds for a little while now. Thanks.
I cannot take this product myself, but I know people who swear by it as a pain reliever. One of the pluses is also a drawback in my opinion... The fact that it lasts soooo long (12 hours, I think) is a huge plus unless it doesn't really hold up to the whole 12 hours, then it could be hours before you could take another pain reliever! Ack! I am glad that it works for you!
I use Aleve too. I hate when you need to get some after 6:00pm and the pharmacy is closed and you can't get it. I understand why they put some medication back there but it still stinks sometimes.
I ever tried the Aleve cold medicine but I do know that the regular Aleve works wonders for me. All in all I think Aleve is a great product.
I am going to try this next time I have sinus problems. Thanks for giving your opinion on it's effectiviness!
Great to know this information! Most medicines don't seem to work for my head colds and sinus infections so I'll keep this in mind.
