Alka Seltzer

Ever since I had my gallbladder out 5 years ago I suffer from severe acid reflux, sometimes to the point of vomiting. I know there are other over the counter prescriptions for this but I find they are very expensive. Because of this, I often use Alka Seltzer.

I find that by using Alka Seltzer, it helps stop the acid reflux within minutes. I should say most of the time though because most medicines don't work right away especially if your body is used to them. Alka Seltzer works better than most others over the counter medicines and I find that the upset stomach often disappears.

Alka Seltzer just isn't for acid reflex but you can also use it for heartburn, and body aches and pains. There are many other types out there too like cold and flu, Alka Seltzer PM, and something new that I saw today called Wake Up Call.
