All Hands On Deck!

I found the cutest Keds shoes for my son while browsing eBay one day. Planning for the fun we'd have outdoors I knew that I'd need to buy more shoes for my baby to run around in. I spotted the Keds On Deck shoes in plaid and I just HAD to get them for him!

These shoes aren't your typical laced or velcro shoes. They are slip ons. they have stretchy elastic on both sides of the tongue to give room in order for the feet to easily slide in. They have thick rubber soles that are textured. This helps with grip so that your toddler can stop on a dime and not slip or fall. At the heel of the sole in the trademark 'Keds' navy blue rectangle. There is also a textured rubber strip that goes around the bottom side of the shoes. This helps to protect from accidentally stubbing the toes while playing.

The material of the shoe feels like a thick cottony-canvas. There are plaid squares that are stitched together using a zig-zag stitch. The colour of the plaid squares are nice and bright for spring/summer - white, navy blue, turquoise, yellow, blue and brown. Paired with a nice plaid shorts and bright t-shirt my son looked great in these shoes.
