Allergies?
By Pipper2008 onIn the spring and in the fall I am tortured by my allergies. My eyes will itch, my throat is scratchy, I sneeze and cough like mad.
I have taken Allegra for as long as I can remember then suddenly last year my insurance company pulled Allegra from our list of available prescriptions, I was furious but my doctor put me on this nasal spray.
I was skeptical at first, but after using it a few days I was well pleased.
The only thing I really do not care for it the taste, I know you are thinking what taste if it is a nasal spray. Inevitably some of the spray will reach your throat and it is pretty gross but if it relieves my allergy symptoms then I will take it!
I get this by prescription at my local pharmacy for a $20.00 co pay, I am unsure of the total price.
Nasacort has a steroid that helps keep the swelling down in the nasal tissues allowing me to breath trouble free.
I do not think this would go over so well with a younger person but if you are 16 years of age and up, you might want to give this a try if you have allergy problems.

I've never tried this... I'm bothered terribly in the spring... Mayby I'll try it...
I've never heard of this brand. I will have to ask my doctor about it on my next visit, thanks.
I have used a nasal spray for years and it has helped sooo much!! I don't think I have taken this one yet, thanks for the information!
I'm lucky enough not to have allergies too badly (very mildly), but I know from family how much they suck. I'm glad you found something that helps! If you've already tried some way to get around the taste, ignore what I say next, but maybe having something that tastes good on hand when you take the spray might help.
I have heard good things about this & echo exactly what you said about the taste. This is something for me to look into because my allergies are horrendous!
Nice to know taht the medication is effective for allergy treatments. Thanks for sharing your experience with us.
These allergy meds really are a great help, but they can be so expensive! I know my copays are $50 for any allergy nasal spray. I'm glad you found something more affordable!
Nasacort is a great allergy medicine. My oldest son has taken it and had great results from it too. The bad taste is unfortunately something that happens with all the nasal allergy medicines.
My son Cam has terrible allergies and asthma. The doctor prescribed Nasocort and it made a huge difference in his breathing. This is such a good medication!
I have never heard of this one, but thankfully, I don't have allergies.
