Alli Weight Loss Medication By Summer Banks on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
The Alli weight loss medication in over the counter form, is the only over the counter weight loss drug approved by the FDA. I decided to try this medication and did not like the result.
The package instructions for the Alli weight loss drug offers plenty of advice on what not to eat. The program allows the user a certain amount of daily fat depending upon the starting weight. The package insert also warns of possible "treatment" effects if fat consumptio is too high.
After researching the nature of these "treatment" effects, I was so full of fear that I did not eat one ounce of fat while taking the medication.
Alli causes very loose stools and stool leakage as well as excessive gas is the user eats too much fat after taking a capsule. Unfortunately, the medication does not build up in the system so the user simply has to choose not to take the pill before indulging.
I suffered NO "treatment" effects while taking Alli and yes, I did lose weight. Out of FEAR!
I will never use this product again. I will not be forced into fear in order to lose a few pounds.

Yikes! I had wondered about this product - diet pills just can't beat eating healthy and exercise. Not yet at least!
LOL I read the product guidelines too! I never bought it cuz it scared the heck out of me! I can not believe this stuff is still on the market!
Thanks for the warning! I've wondered how this works.
Isn't it crazy that a diet drug has such a scare tactic? Anything that says to wear dark clothes in case of leakage just sounds like something I'd never touch. LOL
This is good to know. I will not purchase this. Thanks.
I totally understand you feelings here. That is exactly what I thought about this product when I read about it.
I was really curious about this pill. I think I'll skip it. Thanks for the heads up
