I've never been one to use a lot of heavy makeup, but I do have long eye lashes, and enjoy using mascara to make them look a little darker. My favorite mascara for awhile has been Almay One Coat Nourishing Mascara. It say that it builds your lashes up 100%. It does make your eyelashes appear thicker. It rarely ever clumps or flakes. It has the standard wand brush for application.

Since it is hypoallergenic, it is good for those with sensitive eyes, or for those who wear contacts. I have found that it removes easily with soap and water in the shower. However, be prepared to look a bit like Alice Cooper when you emerge from the bath. Since it isn't waterproof, it does tend to smudge under the eyes after a shower. They suggest using Almay Eye Makeup Remover.

This Almay thickening mascara contains aloe and Vitamin B5 to condition your lashes. I enjoy the Almay products that I have tried, as I prefer to use hypoallergenic products, particularly around the eyes.
