Almonds And Oatmeal Make Great Soap! By JennEm on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I got this soap at a Christmas gift exchange. I don't normally use bar soaps, but I like the smell of almond and the oatmeal sounded like it might be good for my skin. I almost put it in the re-gift closet, but instead I gave it a try.

I'm glad I did. The sweet almond smell is wonderful. The oatmeal does have an exfoliating quality and leaves my skin feeling softer than before. It does leave a bit of a film behind, which bothers me.

The package is pretty, so it makes a nice gift. It's inexpensive, so it works for an under $5 gift exchange such as this one. It's hard to come up with something appropriate, so I'm glad to have something else to add to my idea list for those events. Each packet comes with two soaps.

My husband, who does use bar soaps, also enjoyed this product. This was a surprise to me because he doesn't think scented soaps are particularly manly. Between the two of us we finished off the two bars.

I don't think I would buy this again for me, but I would give it as an inexpensive gift.
