Alphabet Floor Puzzle By Jan Mayrhofer on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This alphabet floor puzzles comes in a brightly colored box with a carry handle. I gave it to my grandson for Christmas last year and he still loves it.

Floor puzzles usually are oversized, and this one is no exception. For every letter of the alphabet, there is a corresponding artist's rendition of an animal to go along with it. The illustrations are fun and kind of quirky. (A jaguar lies atop some palm trees and the frog's tongue that is catching a fly is overly long. There are a few exceptions to the letters corresponding with an animal, but for the most part it is an animal puzzle.

The thing that attracted me to this puzzle in the first place, was its abundance of color. Shades of orange, blue, green, and yellow give the puzzle a very cheerful feel, and does seem to attract the attention of children.

My grandson has used the puzzle a lot and so the handle on the box has broken. He still enjoys playing with it, though, and I like playing with it with him.
