These are my computer speakers. We purchased them when we purchased our brand spanking new computer. We don't own a stereo, other than our children's bookshelf stereos. So when the sales rep. showed us these speakers and we heard them playing in the store, we just new that they were the speakers we needed. We listen to a lot of music on the computer and if you didn't know that these speakers were hooked up to a computer , you would really think it was a stereo system playing. Our children really enjoy listening to music on youtube.com in the morning as they get ready for school. I know what your thinking. I just told you that they all have their own bookshelf stereos in their rooms, however they prefer the sound of our computer speakers more. The only problem is they argue about who's music they will listen to every morning. HAHA There has been no down falls to these computer speakers at all.
Thanks for the info on these speakers. The only speakers we currently have on our computer its the one on the moniter itself. My daughter also listens to you tube on it all afterneen and complains about the sound. Maybe I should check these out.
I am so not computer savvy-I guess I didn't realize you could get separate speakers for the computer aside from the speakers that are already on the system!!! Hee!!!! These sound like they are stereo quality girlfriend!
How great for you that these are so fantastic! I have some speakers hooked up to my desktop, but they just are okay speakers. I might have to investigate these for a better quality sound when listening to the internet radio!

I have Altec speakers too. I love them also.
I have seen Altec Lansing in many stores and have always wondered if they are a good brand. I love the look of the speakers too, very sleek! I am on the hunt for a new speaker set and this seems like a good deal. $100 is a pretty good buy. :o)

I listen to a lot of music when I am on the computer, so a good set of speakers is necessary.
Sounds like it's better than the experience I had with this brand.
