Altec Lansing VS4121 Speakers

I have owned the Altec Lansing VS4121 audio speakers for over two years and they have been worth every penny. Right now, you may be able to get these as low as 79.99 and for that price they are a steal. The design is very sleek and sexy with its black and silver finish. This model is a 2.1 set, and it provides very solid sound. The two side speakers provide very clear and powerful sound all from a thin package. The bass is very clean and non-distorted and is a great complement to the two side speakers. When turned on, the main side speaker emits a blue light, and there are three knobs: the first is the main volume control, the second lesser knobs are treble and bass. As always, the quality is superb with any Altec Lansing product. The only knock that I have with this is that it may not be as loud as some may need it to be. Forcasual use, it is plenty loud but with larger crowds or using it outside (which I doubt is often) it may be weak (but that can be said about any 2.1 speaker system). I would definitely reccommend this set of you are in the market for a high quality (both sound and looks) speaker system.
