Aluminum Can Crusher, Holds 10 Cans By Brandy Norton on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I got this can crusher online. When it came in the mail, I found that the directions were easy to follow and I had it mounted on the wall within 30 minutes. Thats fast for me. My biggest problem was figuring out, my husband's drill.

I got this about 2 months ago, and have smashed over 300 cans.

What I like the most about it is, how easy it crushes them. Older crushers have the handle that you pull down. This one, you pull up the handle. Then the can drops from the bottom. I keep a barrel under my crusher, to catch them.

The cage at the top holds 10 cans. I have had problems with this. First of all, the cage is made out of flimsy plastic. I have had to fix it afew times. Then the cans will not stay in place if they are already bent or halfway crushed. They hop out of place alot. So most of the time, I'm sticking my fingers through the cage, trying to get them in place.

Over all I do not regret buying the crusher, because I do think it is better than the older ones. But, at the same time, don't expect this product to be perfect. I don't think its possible.

This is a pretty neat idea! It's too bad that the cans want to hop out of place-they just want to escape!!
