My boys could not wait until this movie hit the bigscreen. We actually went to see it on opening day in our area. They loved it, especially the songs, so when the dvd hit the stores they must have asked me a million times if we could get it. Although this story takes place during the Christmas season, the overall theme is not geared in that direction. The movie is very upbeat..... and in the end I believe the aspect of the importance of "being a family" is what you will take away from your experience. The characters are both cuddly and mischievious, so there is really never a dull moment.

As a little girl, I grew up at Christmas time listening to the original Chipmunks on records....if that says anything. I was very happy to see them brought back for my children to experience.
