Ambassador Hotel By kingshockey04 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in Amarillo, TX during a three day road trip. The Ambassador Hotel is an atrium-style Hotel with creek running through lobby which was beautiful. It was our stop after driving 12 hours from Las Vegas, NV. We arrived at the hotel around 8pm, tired from being on the road all day. The check in was smooth and the staff was very friendly. We headed straight to our 2-queen room which was very clean and looked nice. The view we had overlooked the pool area which made it a little noise but it wasn't too bad. The hotel had a TGI Fridays on the property which was great because we were starved. We didn't get to swim but the pool looked very nice. The next morning there was a wonderful buffet breakfast in the lobby. I wish we had more time to stay there because I enjoyed it.
