Ameda Purely Yours Breastpump
By BrookeTx onThis is a must have for the breastfeeding mom that needs to pump.
You can purchase the pump without any accessories, but I will tell you what I purchased. The Purely Yours come in a black backpack that is easy to carry and light weight. Ameda has a hygienkit which means that the milk will not flow back into the motor of the pump or be exposed to any outside toxins. You also receive a cool and carry tote with three ice packs and six-four ounce bottles with tops. Included as well is the parts for the manual handpump to use if needed.
Some accessories you can purchase are the car adapater, extra silicone pieces (because they do need to be replaced ever so often) and extra a/c adapter.
One awesome feature about this pump is that it can run on batteries! So you can pump anywhere! The pump is quiet, so it will not advertise to all that you are pumping.
The pump is easy to use. I highly recommend the pump for those breastfeeding moms who need to pump.

I had an Advent breast pump when I was breastfeeding and I had so much trouble with it. I was bummed because it was so expensive.
This seems like it would be a good choice for those who choose to breast feed. Thankfully, my baby time is over, but I do have friends who are getting a late start, so I'll remmeber to keep this brand in mind when shower shopping!
I like the fact that the pump/batteries is discreet & not loud to announce to the world that you are pumping!!!
Maybe I should have tried this, I think I gave up too soon on breastfeeding my son.
This sounds like a great breast pump for young mothers who want to breast feed their baby. The battery powered feature makes this product more desirable.
I have no need for a breast pump but from your description it sounds like a good one!
I am way past the breast feeding days but this sounds like a great unit.
I've never heard of this brand. Good information. Thanks.
Thats great that this pump is quiet. That was a big downfall of my pump. This sounds like a really nice pump! The price was a little much for me though while I was looking at them.
Agree with you that a pump is a must for breast feeding especially first time mum, thanks for sharing all those info.
