American 1 FCU

When we moved to this tiny little town of 1086 people and had to pick a bank from a choice of 3 here in town or pick one 20 minutes away we decided to try a credit union called American 1 FCU, and we are glad we did. Not only are the hours unbeatable - 9am-7pm M-F and 8am-2pm Saturdays!!!There are ATMS all over the town and in the cities next to us. You also can't go more then 7 miles without finding another location of the credit union. You don't have to belong to anything or work at a certain place or have family to get an account here like some credit unions. They have a great kids account called Eagle Earners and have many kids activities through out the year. They have online banking which I LOOOVE and it's free, I can transfer money when ever I need and check my accounts whenever I want. They have everything you need to get your banking done right.The only thing that some people may not like is that there are only 27 locations and only in the southeast Michigan area, but if you plan on moving this way this is the Credit Union I recommend.
