American Fare Earache Relief Ear Drops By cloudage on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
American Fare's earache relief ear drops are homeopathic, and when I suffered a painful ear infection earlier this year I decided to try it out before going to the doctor. I had never tried a homeopathic medicine before, and while I was skeptical I also thought that it couldn't hurt since it's all natural ingredients.
On the package it says to take the drops up to “several” times daily, which to me means as necessary. The directions are vague, but you are supposed to put three to five drops in your ear for relief with the applicator that follows.
First of all, the applicator is as cheap as can be in quality. It's very hard to get just one drop from it and the drops all vary in sizes. Secondly, there is no relief from this medicine. In fact it made my ear infection worse by providing moisture for bacteria to grow. It was soothing feeling the drops run into my ear, but I could achieve the same thing by using water, which would be harmful since I had an infection.
My doctor told me to stop using the product as soon as possible, and I would absolutely not recommend this product to anyone.

My sister had an infection just recently. She was also advised to drop 3-4 times of a medicine her doctor prescribed. So far she's doing better.
