During a recent trip to Los Angeles, we visited the American Girl Doll Place. This store is a girl's dream world with dolls and accessories everywhere. We decided to look for the Just Like Me doll collection, which includes 23 dolls with different hair and eye color combinations. After much contemplation, we found a doll with brown hair with highlights, freckles and blue eyes that looked a lot like my daughter. It came with an outfit and a book.

As an owner of other American Girl dolls, I knew this doll would also be of the highest quality. The hair is shiny and can be combed easily. There are many outfits and accessories that can be purchased separately, including matching outfits for girls. The construction of this dolls is exceptional. The body of the doll is very soft but the legs and arms are still poseable. My daughter has outgrown all her dolls except for the American Girl dolls. This doll along with the others have been a great purchase as they keep their value for years to come.
