American Girl offers this great, young-girl-appropriate fragrance at Bath & Body Works stores and at the Bath & Body Works site.I bought it for my 14 year old niece, and she uses it every day now.It's a great fragrance for a tween or a teen, because it contains notes of fresh gardenia, pear, and sweet jasmine...nothing too "grown up" or overpowering.
Although it's an eau de toilette, its scent lasts without being heavy.My niece also enjoys displaying the beautiful, star-shaped bottle on her dresser.
What's also nice about this scent is that Bath & Body Works offers a bath and shower gel and a fun shimmer body lotion, so the user can layer the fragrance instead of using products which might "compete" with the scent.

American Girl "Truly Me" sounds like the perfect cologne for teens. The pink bottle is very unique and pretty. I'm glad Bath & Body Works makes products for the younger girls. They like to feel pretty too!
Did they use to have a rose one? My 20 year old stepdaughter was telling me about a rose scent from Bath and Body that she wanted more of...I couldn't find it though. I'll have to look into these.
I love the bottle, I'll have to keep this in mind for some of my older neices.
Sounds like it smells yummy! I love light scents.
