Amish roll-n-glow fireplace is COOL
By timeCapsule onThis is my first winter and Mother Nature is really good to grant my dream of a White Christmas. Todate, we accumulated about 120 inches of snow since the start of winter. Coming from a tropical country where temperature never goes below 75 degrees, adjustment with the cold weather is indeed tough. So if I don't really have grave reason to go out, staying at home, sipping hot cocoa with miniature marshmallows beats the cold. But my in-laws hate winter. I can't blame them. With the current high price of heating oil, keeping our home warm is hurting our pocket. So they bought this Amish Roll-N-Glow electric fireplace. It is a good alternative for heating oil because it is energy efficient and very convenient because it has a remote control to turn it on/off and to regulate the heat. Not to mention that it looks stylish in our living room with it's cherry wood panels made by the Amish whose craftsmanship is flawless. The coal and the flame look real. We love our new Amish Roll-N-Glow electric fireplace because it not only saves us a lot of money but it really keeps us warm this winter.

Amish made is definitely high quality, glad you found a way to keep warm in all that snow. My son and daughter in law were talking about trying to purchase a fireplacve, I will kieep this in mind for them
I like the Amish quality of workmanship, never can go wrong.
I have some questions and concerns. 1. Amish don't use or build anything with electricity. 2. I saw the ad for the heater and saw many workers that are supposed to be Amish in the picture. Amish don't allow themselves to be photographed. 3. I have a friend with one of these units and the heater says made in China. 4. I have doubts about the validity of their statements so I have doubts about the savings. A true test would be to check your electricity consumption while running this 1500 watt heater and such. Now that would be a true test not does it look good, and I like the light.

First of all, get your facts right. There is no such Amish law saying they can't work with electricity. I live in an Amish community. They have a market here and work and build electrical items all the time. I live near an Amish farm. I had a picture taken with an Amish friend on the farm with her family in the background. Plus if you notice they are building the mantle not the heater. So that throws the electrical question out the door. Plus heat surge was developed in china for them. This is their product. Not a U.S. product being built in China. What they build for themselves is a high quality. Check your homework before making assumptions.
Thanks for your feedback. We’ve set up a Web site to share the facts about our company at http://heatsurge.wordpress.com Chris Pugh Heat Surge
I have a similar fireplace in a bedroom, and just love it! The extra warmth helps when it gets really cold!
looks like it can create one romantic evening. since we moved we got a fireplace so i probably won't consider it now but it does look pretty fancy.
Religious custom notwithstanding, I trust Consumer Reports Magazine and it says these Amish stoves are just more cheap junk from China. If you use one often your electric bill be out of the charts.
