The Ampeg BA115 is a combo amplifier for bass. It is 100 watts and has a 15 inch speaker. The amp has features such as style control, which allows you to choose from set presets to alter your tone. It also has a three band equilizer. It is a pretty stright forward amplifier and produces good tone. It is black in color and is shaped as a cube.
Ampeg is famous for their bass amplifiers and set the standard for bass players. I was looking for a simple amp that could also produce enough power in a combo form. For whatI use the amp for, I would say it is adequate. I don't know if this amp would be enough power to be a bass players main amp in a band. For home use and small venues, I think it would do the job.
My favorite feature of the amp is that it tilts back. This can project the sound much more and the design of the amp is desinged specifically for this function.
This is a quality combo amplifier for any bass player. If you need a lot of power, however, you iwll want a bigger amp.

We had one of these, let someone barrow it, and never got it back. I like these amps as far as sound.
