This harddrive enclosure is a great deal at newegg. I bought it because I had an extra harddrive lying around and nothing to do with it so I turned it into an external harddrive. This enclosure is extremely sturdy. I have never dropped it myself but supposedly some people have and it still works fine. It is also very professional looking and not flimsy or cheap looking. It also has a fan which helps a lot because I have had some external harddrives that didn't have fans and the harddrive overheated after too much use. It is also compatible with both usb 2.0 and firewire. Although this does need an external power source and cannot be powered by usb (I think only laptop harddrives can do this), this is still an excellent harddrive. It is very portable and sturdy.
