An Economic Family Car By Jemmy Hosea on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This car is used by my wife. She likes a car that can load entire family. Actually we choose Daihatsu Xenia because the price is cheaper than Toyota Avanza, but based on my survey, I prefer this Avanza VVT -I S. I felt comfortable with this car because it can load up to 10 persons at one time. We can use this car for go to malls with entire family, etc. Also, the fuel consumption is very low. It took up to two weeks before I have to re-fuel again. When we bought this car, we also install alarm set and glass film for sunshine reflection. There are several disadvantages of this car. First of all is the acceleration. The acceleration felt so "heavy" especially when there are many people loaded with full power air conditioner. Second is the transmission itself. The gear movement is not smooth. We can feel stamp in every gear movement. Last but not least is the stability. When the car run at 100km/h, I feel that the steering wheel is so light, the car becomes unstable and this is very dangerous because accident will happen if we are reckless. However, every car has it own disadvantages. The price of this car is cheaper ($16.500) compare with other brands that cost above $20.000. If you only use this car inside your town and want to load many people, then this is the right choice for you.
