No picture of this book could ever do the art justice! The fairies, the cottage, the butterflies and woods, everything is just far too beautiful for mere words.

This tale begins with a little girl going into the woods, only to be taken to fairy land as the honored guest at a fairy wedding. While there, she meets the King and Queen of fairyland, who live in a gorgeous castle by the sea. And, she is eventually returned home to her little cottage in the woods, to her family.

It's a fairly short, hardcover book, that comes with a CD of the book being read. My kids LOVE this book! Every night, "Mommy, I want the fairy story".

I find that it's a charming little story, with the fabulous art, and a lot of fun to read and show the girls the pictures. Honestly, we haven't even listened to the CD, I like reading it as much as they like hearing it!
