My sweetie had been asking to buy an LCD HD tv for what has seemed like forever. He finally wore me down. I just couldn't imagine that the difference would be that severe to spend that kind of money for a tv. Well, I admit I was wrong. We purchased a 42 inch lcd/hd Toshiba Regza from best buy. I can even hook up my computer and us the tv screen as a monitor if I wanted too! This tv has proved it's worth. I went chanel surfing last night through the hd chanels to see if there was a difference. It was like seeing tv for the first time. Everything was brighter, and you could see every detail. I scoped a few minuets of the Yankees game and I was amazed. I could see every blade of grass, I could see what the people in the stands were eateing. Later there was a concert on tv. It felt like it was in my living room. This tv is beautiful!

It was easy to hook up. The manual was very easy to understand. I can't wait for the next movie rental night. I feel like my eyes are so excited with all the visuals you don't see with a regular tube tv. My honey was right, lcd/hd is the way to go.
