An Ok Nikon Camera By lordofdarkness66 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Yet another camera by Nikon with their almost trademark characteristics. It takes pictures of 8.1 megapixels resolution. Surprisingly clear when enlarged on a PC. It has a 3.5x Optical Zoom and 4x Digital Zoom. The optical zoom value is above average and pictures of far objects come out quite clear when taken. It lacks manual focus capabilities. This made it annoying sometimes when I couldn't focus on the object I wanted. Its movie with sound recording function is above average. The sound is perceivable and the video doesn't get stuck much. The 23MB memory is just too small for a camera like this. But thankfully, SD cards come to the rescue. The camera has a SD card slot to expand the memory further. It has a vibrational reduction feature. As its name says, it truly does reduce blurring due to shaky hands. As with other Nikon cameras, this one has WiFi photo transfer capabilities too to eliminate the need for cables and card readers. A fairly good camera.
