An Old Favorite Made New

I have liked Alvin and the Chipmunks since I was much younger. So when the new movie came out I had to go see it. It is sometimes hard to find movies that the whole family will enjoy but this is one. We enjoyed it so much that when it came out on DVD I had to buy it.
I'm sure most people know this story but for those that don't, it is about three talking chipmunks that end up liveng with a man named Dave Seville (played by Jason Lee). He is a struggling songwriter and discovers that the chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore, can sing.
Now in this version of the story, Dave sets out to use the chipmunks to help his own career but discovers that he really cares about them. They get involved with a record producer (played by David Cross) who is just out to make money off of the chipmunks.
I will not go into to many details for the people who have not seen this movie and would like to. It does have a happy ending. It is a funny movie with a few touching moments that will bring back fond memories for Alvin and the Chipmunk fans.

I loved this show when I was a kid and I cannot wait to see the movie.
I need to go buy this. My sons went and saw it at the theater and really liked it.

I loved Alvin and the chipmunks when I was growing up! I should go get this for my son to watch when he is older.(he's 6months old now) It's a good excuse for me to get it so I can watch it! LOL!
That is surely my all time favourite, love listening to their songs.
I have to agrre that this is a good movie. We own it!

This was a cute movie. I remember watching the cartoon on Saturday mornings as a kid. My neighbor had one of their records.
