An Outline Of American History By chineseairhead on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

The book is not for sale, which means you can't find it in the market. In fact, it's printed by the American Embassy to tell the world about the history of the United States.

The book is included in a series. There are also "a brief outline of the American Goverment", a brief outline of the American Geography" and so on.

Actually, the language in the book is simple but profound. And surely it is brief. Most importantly, it is billingual because the book is for foregners to read. So everyone could finish the book in a week's time if he is about to read the book seriously. Once finished the book, a reader would gain a brief knowledge about the history of the United States.

Indeed, the book has some disadvantages. The biggest one is that the book is not up-to-date. It ends with Ronaldo Reagan elected in 1980. That must disappoints readers who are eager to know what happened after Reagan took over the government and Clinton and Bush.
