Analon Santoku 5 Knife By okyots on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
The Analon Santoku knife fits well in your hand. The handle has a non slip grip coating which is very nice. The knife itself is a combination of a chefs knife and a cleaver. It's a wider blade than a chefs knife, but not a big as a cleaver, so it can be used in different ways. The side of the knife has little divots in it so things won't stick to it when you cut or chop them. It's great for cutting up chickens and getting through the joints and bones. It's very sharp so like with other knives, be careful! You're not supposed to put it in the dishwasher, which isn't good for me because I put everything in the dishwasher. I've only handwashed it so far because I don't want to ruin it. All in all, a very handy knife.
