Stay classy San Diego! This movie is a riot. Will Ferrel is so great in this movie and the obvious improv between him and the other characters is priceless. The news anchor team is a great ensemble. This movie won't be for everyone, but I enjoyed it more than most of the comedies from this category. Definitely a must see if you like Will Ferrel and this type of comedy. By no means should you go into Anchorman expecting a brilliant plot. This movie is simply a quotable comedy in the vein of Borat. There are so many lines in this movie that are downright absurd, and that's what makes them quote-worthy. It's all about Will Ferrell here, so if you like him in any of his other work, you'll definitely like what he does here. His co-anchors in the film, all of them, play off of his humor well and make the movie work for the most part. Again, not an award-winner, just a very funny movie about one ridiculous news anchor.
