This beautifull very large angel afghan was a great gift. It is eye appealing in dark rich colors. It looks very nice draped over any couch or chair. It is very well made. I have had mine for over seven years now. It wash's and drys well in the machines. I have never seen any color fading or wear in the material. It is very warm to snuggle under in cold weather as it is very thick. It is a great cover up on any couch or bed when taking a nap. It was mail ordered from Swiss Colony as a Christmas Gift for me. You can see the large beautiful angel standing in the center of this afghan. It is often used at our home and always has been. It is lovely to have out at Christmas time because of the angel. It does make a lasting gift. I have two small children on mine and they sit at the feet of the angel. It is a wonderful display item, and a cherished belonging. It has an antique look about it, and maybe could be discribed as biblical artwork. I have no idea if this was made because of a copy to a great masterpiece. I just know that it one of my very most favorite afghans or blankets ever. I often refer to it as a blanket because of it's size. It is so much larger than any afghan that I have ever had.

I have several afghan's that I made myself back in the late80's and yes they do wear well and there still in use today. There's just something that feels good in the winter when it's cool out to throw one on and get all warmed up!
