Angel Care Baby Monitor

Reviewing: Angel Care Baby Monitor
Purchased at: Target     Price: $150.00 USD

We chose the Angel Care monitor before our baby was born and received it as a shower gift. The main feature that convinced us was the motion pad that lays under the baby mattress. This monitor comes with an alarm feature so that if the infant stops breathing, you'll be awoken. For a nervous new parent, this was key to my sanity! Now that my daughter is old enough to scoot around the crib, we have removed the pad and just use it as a regular monitor.

The range of this thing is great. We have 2 parent units and have taken them outside with us while the baby was napping and were still able to hear her. It can operate on batteries or plug, and we use both. This thing does tend to eat up the batteries so we have to make sure to plug it back in when we're done. But the units are very portable and have a good amount of sound adjustment available. Great product for new parents.

This is a very "high tech" baby monitor. I wished they had this around when my kids where babies. Thanks for sharing.

I like those new monitors that have the motion pad to notify is baby stops breathing.

I;ve heard this is great for moms whose babies have reflux and need to sleep on their tummies, too!

This is expensive, but I'm sure it brings peace of mind when in use. Luckily for me I don't freak out about these things and a regular monitor is enough.

I love the motion pad, allaying any fears while baby is sleeping. It is well worth the price.

I wish this was available when my teen was born. She was a preemie and had bouts of apnea. The doctor prescribed a monitor that consisted of belts that wrapped around her chest. She had to wear this for the first year of her life. It was obviously very uncomfortable for her as she woke up constantly and would pull at it. Way to go technology to get something like this out on the market!
