Angel Isle, By Peter Dickinson By Apples on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A couple of weeks ago, I finished the book Angel Isle by Peter Dickinson, and it was simply amazing. I highly recommend this book for all of you fantasy lovers out there. There is actually a prequel to the book, called The Ropemaker, but you don't have to read that one, as there isn't really any information in that book that you need to understand this book.

The book takes place in a world that has magic. A man known as the "Ropemaker" is in charge of controling the chaos in the Empire. But he has disappeared for about 200 years now. Into this world emerge Saranja, Maja, and Ribek, whose destiny is to find the Ropemaker before it is too late.

This book may seem complex and a bit long, but overall, it's really great. There is some really interesting theology in it. Also, there is a little romance between Maja and Ribek, which I personally enjoyed. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
