Animal Alpha - Pheromones

Animal Alpha is a new band that I have recently come upon. They are a metal band and they have a female vocalist. It's different than the metal that I am used to and it makes the music much better. Other than the vocalist, the lineup isn't too different than your usual metal band. The instrumentation is about the same too. For me, it's the vocals that really set this band apart. She uses her voice really well in all sorts of ways from the gutteral scream all the way to girly "la"s. The quality of the music is good too. It's not just the originality, even if you've been listening to a ton of metal all of your life, this stuff is definitely worth a listen. The only thing that I'd have to complain about is that, as with all metal, I find it hard to understand what she's saying.
