Anita Cochran is a symbol of new and old style country colliding. The album entitled "Anita" expresses a touching mix of fast tempo to slow tempo to even songs of reflection with matters of the heart. Anita is not a big name in country music, however she really should be. Anita's voice has been known to be described as "husky", but I feel as though that is a little harsh considering the well done and heartfelt context and smoothness of the tenth track of this album called "Everytime it Rains." He packs an emotional punch that will jerk the tears a bit.

The transition between songs on this album is not very well done, but you never loose focus on whom you are listening to and the intense portray of emotions that Anita brings out successfully in each song. The album "Anita" is very memorable, the songs are quick to stick in your mind as well as start your foot a tappin'!
