In Texas we are entitled to one free credit report a year. This is a great way for you to check and make sure there are no mistakes on your credit report or that your credit and information is not being used frauduently.
This website is fairly easy at first to navigate to get access to your credit report. You also are able to gain access to all three credit bureaus. You just enter your information and then are asked a few questions about items on your credit report. This is just additional verfication.
Once you gain access to the report, each bureau reports differently so that may be a little difficult to read and of course some are easier than others.
There was a mistake on my husband's credit and to find the link to find the website to dispute the mistake was a bit difficult. However once we found the link it was easy to fill out and a few weeks later we received a letter saying the mistake had been removed. Sure enough we checked and it was removed.
Overall I recommend this website for your free credit report.
I just wanted to remind everyone to not forget to check their credit at least one time a year!

I recently used this site and was very happy with it. Even with the security questions, the credit reporting company I chose couldn't securely verify my identity (common name, recent move), so they sent a password in the mail a week later. Not only was it accurate, I was so happy how secure it was, that no one else would be able to get my sensitive info.

Im in the middle of a bankruptcy and decided to use this one.
I like to do one from a different credit bureau every 4 months, that way I'm constantly monitoring what's going on with my credit.
I love this website. In fact I think I am due for another free credit report.
