Another Boots Review, But Not The Shop! Cat. By Glen Smith on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I found my Cat boots at a car boot sale, never worn, just a little scuffing from being kicked about, and at the bargain price of £2.50, haggled down from £3. I got them home, and set to cleaning them, using good old Kiwi boot polish. They came up a treat.I am assuming that from new, these boots were finished in a matt nubuck effect, and required polish to be added to provide waterproofing. The laces are of very good quality, as are the boots themselves. The soles are non slip, very comfy, and absorb shocks to the heels.

I have never had Caterpiller boots before, and am quite impressed by them. They are rugged enough for site work, but also very good for general use. I like wearing trainers, but of course there are limitations, like when they get wet. Boots are also better for giving support to your ankles. You can wear these boots all day long. They do not have steel toe caps, and so are not too heavy.

I hope the picture works out all right, it is my first one on this site. I do welcome any comments, both good and bad. Thankyou for reading. Take care.

Still comfy by the way.

I like the boots' rich caramel color. Good pic; it shows the details of the shoes well.

Hi, thanks for the comments, yes I like the colour, although when I first saw them, they were very dull & flat.
