Anti Colic That Caused Colic By poshpost on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

We bought a couple of the Camera brand Anti Colic Feeding Bottles because we needed an alternative to the Breastflow bottles that my baby is using, as at that time, Breastflow was out of stock.

We chose Camera because not only is it cheaper, it is supposed to be anti-colic. The nipples are standard in size, the bottle is BPA free. Pretty good, huh? It comes with a plastic sieve-like thing so that the flow of milk to the nipple is controlled.

But duh! Our baby used it only once, because after that she fussed because she was already colicky. Additionally, the flow was so fast that our baby could not catch up. She was only 1 month old when we tried it so we were really worried when she continued to cry.

So from then on, we ceased using this bottle as we don't want another bout with colic. It is so difficult to deal with a colicky baby and we have proven that it was the bottle that caused it because our baby has never had colicky pain when we stopped using it.

This supposed to be anti-colic bottle caused our baby's colic!
