Anti Dandruff Shampoo That Causes Dandruff By poshpost on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My husband and I are careful in the shampoo that we use. I am not fussy, but he has the tendency to develop dandruff if his scalp does not like the shampoo. He does not complain, but then I would notice flakes on his head and then he would say it is the shampoo.
Anyway, he has his usual shampoo brand. But then, Head & Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo had a promo at that time, so we bought one and got one free. For me, it was okay. The scent was not so good and it did not have a lot of conditioner, but it didn't really matter to me as long as my hair was clean.
But after a week, I noticed that there were flakes on my husband's hair again. And it was not there before we opened the new bottle of Head & Shoulders. I don't know what is in Head & Shoulders, but it is causing dandruff on my husband when it is supposed to be an anti-dandruff shampoo.
Anyway, I bought the usual shampoo for my husband and in just three days, his dandruff was gone. So it was the Head & Shoulders Anti-Dandruff Shampoo that caused it all.
I finished the rest of the products, as it was okay with me. But we no longer bought it the next time around even if it was on sale. I don't like the smell and I was just trying to use it because it is cheap. And now that it has caused dandruff for my husband, never again will we buy it.
