I purchased this unit as a battery backup system for my desktop, tv,router and computer speaker system.The LCD display is wonderful and displays real-time power monitoring. It is easy to read from far and clear in the dark. It is a unit you got to have if unexpected power outage is frequent in your region due to weather or if you are working with very important documents. It also protects the modem very well from surges which work once for my case. For me the steep pricing is a major drawback if it is not fully utilized and plus I can't really justify the price given the benefits or the purpose it serves in my case. The setup is extremely painless and work effectively in few minutes. It works wonderfully in an office environment but for a normal household, I am not too positive.
